Context :

Acrossroads of people, with its numerous medieval cities, from Brasov to the beautiful historical centre of Rasnov with its fortified citadel, Sighisoara: native city of Count Vlad Tepes and Sibiu, European capital of culture 2007 and many others, a legendary land rich in castles and churches constructed during the period of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the majority can be visited.

The main geographical characteristic of the region is the Carpathian Mountains range which mountains Bucegi, Piatra and Craiului are part of. National parks, near and visible from the holiday village of Bran, which is practically in the centre and is where this new complex will be built.

On the slopes of the two large mountains there are renowned tourist localities such as Sinaia, Predeal, Busteni and Poiana Brasov all famous above all for winter sports. During the summer many other centres for amusement and relaxation allow the practise of all sports, hill-climbing, jumping, rafting and wind-gliding are available above and beyond the numerous mountain trails and leisurely fishing on the lakes and rivers.

For those with a passion for potholing this region offers thousands of fantastic caves to explore, quickly reached. For those who love safari and photography, the mountains and forests around Bran are full of wild animals: deer, bears, wolves, lynx, wildboar and eagles etc. The flora is also interesting with many rare flowers.

From the town of Bran and its surroundings, many valleys covered in pinewoods and furrows and silver courses of water winding down the sides of the mountains are very inviting for healthy walks to typical restaurants in large wooden mountain chalets, warm and traditional with uninterrupted popular music which accompanies the delicious local cooking.
